FEMALE DRUMMER WANTED...
Female drummer aged 18-30 required to complete existing 3 piece Original/Alternative/Rock band 'The Dirty Stop Outs' due to recent personnel change. Ideally the following applies:
* You can play or are a quick learner (no, we don't expect speed metal but solid, versatile beats would be good)
* You have gear & access to transport
* You are willing to COMMIT to serious practice/writing/recording with a view to developing the band to a state of full time employment
* You MUSN'T have an attitude (no star tantrums until you are one please)
* You MUST be easygoing and have a good sense of humour :-)
* YOU can be anyone or anything just not a bastard :-)
* Live/Recording experience not essential
We have a practice room and a drumkit so jamming will be easy.
Existing members are Stu (32) and Robbie (25) (a boy and a girl who are together) who share lead vox/guitar/bass...we are experienced, can play, and are very easygoing...have enjoyed some success in previous bands, and are putting everything we've learnt into this one.

One step beyond are looking for a drummer, with a temporary or full time position available for players capable preferably of rock and metal techniques (think primus meets napalm death, or something to that effect). It is not necessary that we be your exclusive commitment. 40+ songs written, and more to be composed with the right drummer. Must be able to perform an accurate version of much of our previous material. We have 8 years of gigging experience and are looking to book many local and interstate shows for the coming year.
