About Me

Originally an acoustic 2- piece from Dundee, Scotland, The Kays Lavelle have been described as "dark and beautiful."We are currently holed up in a hole working on new material to follow up our debut EP "I can't believe you're here" which was released in June 2007.Influenced in no small part by the facial hair of The Band and the step to the side and chop technique adopted by Daniel Larusso in Karate Kid I - his karate was not a joke! - we have ventured into the world of film with a wee documentary about the making of our EP about to be released by award winning Scottish film maker Matty "MJ" Ross. He's a talent. So please check out his website at www.sleepysoul.co.uk and pay your respects to the fine gentleman. Oh, and check out the film when it comes out in July 2007. thanks. So what does the future hold for the Kays? Well, in the words of those fine Scottish poets: We're on our way, from misery to happiness today......uh huh.....uh huh......uh huh......uh huh..........please support your local poets.......i.e........us. thanks.
