We're a band! We’ve got songs about stalking and inappropriate lusting and sexing and stuff, and other songs with guitars in and nice beats you can dance to.
We play lo-fi guitar pop pop POP! We're arguably like a less attractive Girls Aloud! Think of us all as Nicola, if you will.
We, Cancel the Astronauts, are based in Edinburgh. Edinburgh is inside Scotland, which is, in turn, above England. You should go to Edinburgh, it has a castle on a volcano. You might even see Cancel the Astronauts there.
We write songs (twisted love songs mostly) but not as many as we would like. Sometimes we even get to play them to people, though again not as often or to as many people as we would like.
We've been a band for a wee while now and to date have played gigs with Frightened Rabbit, Found, Attic Lights, Parka, Juno! and the Kays Lavelle. We've played gigs with lots of other people of course, and plan to play many more in the future.
We've got a website! Yes! We do! Currently it only has our old demos on it, most of which we don't play anymore. But there will be more stuff there in the future. Honest.

As previously mentioned we have an old demo CD available for download over at canceltheastronauts.co.uk . It's got eight tracks on, and is entirely free, which makes us a bit like Radiohead, if you think about it.
