About Me

....READ THE BLOGS!!!.......I started out working for a construction company in Tuscarawas county when I was 14 years old and still in school, I worked for them for 3 years then trade school and started my own buisness doing comercial/residential construction, concrete, excavating etc. This is still what I do, kinda....now I am working with a Missionary development project in Uganda, This started out in April of 2004.... at this time I was really bored with work and everything and I was lookin for sumthing new to do.It all started when a friend of mine asked me if I would go to church with him,....This was a new one for me because I could count the number of times I had been to church on one hand and thought Moses and Jesus were brothers....sad huh?.....But God is good!! and I found a great Mennonite church In Berlin, Ohio. Mennonite because that is my background....well Amish...It was through this church That I found my calling in life, again something totaly unfamiliar to me even after being baptized and a member of the church for some time I did not think God would totaly grab you off your feet and tell you "THIS IS WHAT YOUR GONNA DO!!" And make it totally clear. But He did so I went to Africa, cheked it out, made the contacts, fell in love with the place and now I am there full time as a missionary..... Please keep us in your prayers as we further Gods kingdom to the most destitute of the worlds children...Blessings -Kris

My Interests

"He saw people love each other. And he saw that all love made strenuous demands on the lovers. He saw love requires sacrifice and self-denial. He saw love produce arguments and anguish. And he decided that it cost too much. And he decided not too diminish his life with love. He saw people strive for distant and hazy goals. He saw men strive for success, women strive for high, high ideals. And he saw that the striving was frequently mixed with disappointment. And he saw strong men fail. He saw it force people into pettiness. He saw those who succeeded were sometimes those who had not earned success. And he decided that it cost too much. He decided not to soil his life with striving. He saw people serving others. He saw men give money to the poor and helpless. And he saw that the more they served, the faster the need grew. He saw ungrateful receivers turn on their serving friends. He decided not to soil his life with serving. And when he died, he walked up to God and presented him with his life. Undiminished, unmarred, and unsoiled, his life was clean from the filth of the world, and he presented it proudly saying, "This is my life." And the great God said, "What life?"" ............................................................ ........................................................ "I was hungry and you formed a humanities club to discuss my hunger. Thank you. I was imprisoned and you crept off quietly to your chapel to pray for my release. Nice. I was naked and in your mind you debated the morality of my appearance. What good did that do? I was sick and you knelt and thanked God for your health. But I needed you. I was homeless and you preached to me of the shelter of the love of God. I wish you had taken me home. I was lonely and you left me alone to pray for me. Why didn't you stay? You seem so holy, so close to God; but I am still very hungry, lonely, cold, and still in pain. YOU!!.... MY AIM IS: kris1africa .... So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.1 Cor 10:12 on Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms....Eph 6:10 on

Wisdom is the finest beauty of a person. Money does not prevent you from becoming blind. Money does not prevent from you becoming mad. Money does not prevent you from becoming lame. You may be ill in any part of your body, so it is better for you to go and think again and to select wisdom. Come and give, that you may have rest in your body, inside and out. This photo won Kevin Carter the Pulitzer in 1994 during the Sudan famine....The picture depicts a famine stricken child crawling towards an United Nations food camp, located a kilometer away......The vulture is waiting for the child to die so that it can eat.....This picture shocked the whole world... Noone knows what happened to the child, including the photographer, Kevin Carter, who left the place as soon as the photo was taken.........After returning home for three months he committed suicide due to depression.......14 years later, in 2008 the world still faces poverty and famine in so many areas...such a waste of life.... the more we try the more we need...But hey, life is cheap.....Right?...........................-Kris-
