About Me

I make hand made custom trumpets and trombones in New York City. I also am a Master Brass Repairman and do quite a bit of customization and repairwork. Some of my instruments and products can be seen with Beyonce, Dave Mathews Band, Ozomatli, Locos Por Juana, John Mayer, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Mycoy Tyner, Mingus Big Band, American Idol, Marcus Miller, and many others.
All of my instruments are hand made for the individual player to help design a truly custom instrument for the musicians needs. Through a series questions, and listening I can help determine what will best suit your needs and then make it. All of my trumpets feature my patent pending free floating leadpipe system and top ported valve caps.
Over the past year I have been responsible for designing Sam Ash Music's Jean Baptiste line of brass instruments. I have designed the following instruments for them:
480LE Trumpet
Benjamin Adams BAT1 trumpet
481 3 valve Baritone
483 3 valve Euphonium
481 4 valve Euphonium
I have been living in New York City since 2002 when I moved here to work as a repairman. After a few years in the United States Marine Corps Band as a French Horn player and repairman, I decided to repair full time.
One of my main passions is traveling. Over the past year and a half I have been to China 4 times, Scotland, London, France twice, Holland, Venezuela, Canada and Israel. I enjoy discovering new people, places and foods. I plan on doing more traveling in the future to new and exciting places.
