Housewives Club

The Housewives Club was, initially the brain child of Rae from The Distressors. It began as an idea to make unsigned bands’ live nights more interesting.“ I was becoming more and more frustrated with the London live scene. No bands knew each other, venues weren’t promoting the nights as they should be, fans turned up for their own band and left at the end of their sets. It seemed like a factory conveyor belt of bands that really weren’t that integrated. I wanted to change things, to make the nights more special and the atmosphere more alive with the talent, but more collectively involved in putting on a show for the whole night. So I thought about talking to some great bands I had played along side to see if they would be interested”.
The result is The Housewives Club. Unsigned Bands like The Distressors, Crazy 88, The Mitsubishis, Breach and Dry Riser have all jumped at the idea of playing and organising “Mini Festivals”. Days and nights where bands know bands and their fans meet other fans.
In the summer we all plan to involve Dj and accoustic Sets, daytime jam sessions in the laid back gardens of venues with BBQs and soulful sounds. To move in to the night with some of the best unsigned live acts on the scene.We are now looking for unsigned bands, acoustic acts and singer songwriters to play at events in the following areas..LondonBrightonEssexBristolIf you have an existing fan base, want to play a well publicised and industry attended event , and are based in the areas above, get in touch!! We are looking for the cream of unsigned talent to fly the flag for their city. This opportunity can put you in front of well respected A&R , at a great venue, with like minded musicians and artists and increase your fan base!You will need to register your act with www.popworldpromotes.com and you will need to be active in publicising your performance at the Event, any way you know how!
