About Me

MyGen Profile Generator Everything has to wind down - and that time’s come for The Shakes. We managed to half-recorded the album, but the commitments of playing in a band got too much for us to carry on.

Thanks for your support over the years: for all the singing and too many good times to count. We'll keep the page up and the tracks on here are all available to download for free. You can also watch our vidoes still on Youtube.

But it’s not the end. Ed’s spent the last 8 months writing and recording new songs with soul girl Amber. He’s behind the keyboards and drum machines and she’s the new voice. You can hear our new stuff at
