I prefer female vocalists to male generally. And forgive me if I've mis-categorized here. It's hard for me to tell sometimes.

Also anything Miyazaki: Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds, Princess Mononoke
I don't own a tv. However, if I did, I'd watch a lot of Cartoon Network, and occasionally the Learning Channel. My favorites? Home Movies, X-Files, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Scrubs, Six Feet Under, Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, ooh, and those crazy VH1 shows like "Super Secret TV Formulas." I'd probably watch MTV too, in some bizarre world where they actually played music and the music they did play didn't suck.
Lately I've been watching a lot of anime as well: Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Paranoia Agent, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc... I'm trying to learn Japanese by osmosis. I'm slowly picking up words here and there...
I feel like it's more fair to list authors than it is name specific books, because I mostly stick to junk sci-fi and fantasy. It's rather embarrassing. I also have a weak spot for buying neat coffeetable books with lots of pictures. I digress, though. Authors: Piers Anthony, Marian Zimmer Bradley, Orson Scott Card, Salman Rushdie, Mercedes Lackey, Anne Rice, Janny Wurtz, Lemony Snickett, Philip Pullman, and various other brain candy. I don't really have much time for reading at all these days. A good part of my reading is done on my lunch break at work, namely a subscription to Scientific American, cause if it's one thing this girl likes, it's science.
And if you haven't tried Terry Pratchett, do it!
