About Me

I'm a novelist living in Seattle, Washington, with my husband and a fat black cat. I write fiction primarily for Tor and Subterranean Press; and to pay the bills between the books, I freelance as a writer and editor for a big internet retailer.
(Or, to put it another way, I spend most of my professional life writing about power tools, automotive accessories, flaming zombies, ghosts, and gun-toting nuns who hunt werewolves. So it's sort of a mixed bag, really.)
I don't like MySpace very much, so I don't use it very much. The interface makes me itchy. For actual contact information and regular updates, try my LiveJournal or my official homepage at CheriePriest.com .
You can email me through MySpace, though, if you want. If at all possible - I'll write back.

[By the way, I like to keep my profile tidy -- which is to say, I delete any comments posted here that stretch my layout with big banners and pictures. It isn't personal. I just don't like having to scroll sideways to address this page, that's all. Consider this your heads-up.]
