I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a lover of life, one who will try something new at least once a day. There is so much to do and see in the vast place that I might as well take advantage of it. I seek new friends, learning experiences, good memories, lessons learned and many, many books to read!! Books are my greatest passion and anyone who knows me knows that simple statement about me.My first book, Tales From a Goth Librarian, is NOW available through Kerlak Publishing and Amazon.com!!!! If you purchase a copy of the book and live near or in the Memphis, TN area, I will be more than happy to sign it for you! I also have a poetry chapbook entitled Rusty Typewriter that was published through FootHills Publishing.Lastly, I am the owner of VIRIDIAN BOOKS (www.viridianbooks.com), an online bookstore for the strange and unusual reader. I cater to those who want more than just fluff and meaningless dribble. Grab a cup of tea and enter my little store; you never know what we'll have!

Your result for The Steampunk Style Test...

The Aristocrat

You are the Aristocrat, the embodiment of steampunk elegance and poise. For you, dressing steampunk is first and foremost about simply looking good, with accessories and details to follow. However, this does not mean that you ignore the demands of creating a “steampunk look.” Your outfits weave together a balance between technology and style, and between period accuracy and beautiful anachronism. While your fashion inspiration may come from anywhere across the Victorian social spectrum, you always find a way to make your outfit beautiful. You will probably be found in the clothes of the steam age elite simply because of the greater elegance available to them. Chances are you dress this way because you like it, and you would still dress in this manner even if steampunk was not a popular interest.
