About Me

It's me and whoever I could get to turn up to the sessions. I will post some more recent stuff soon. I used to approach people who could play, whatever their ability and record in my lounge with a maximum of 8 players. They never knew what we would be doing as all the tracks we recorded were generally done in one take with nobody apart from me knowing what we would be recording. These tracks were played once and never again. I would have an idea of the instrumentation of each track, who would play what and sing a melody/ riff to someone and everyone else followed a loose direction from there on. It was all improvised with me directing proceedings as we recorded. We played the whole lot through a stereo 8 track mixer straight onto a music centre! No professional equipment at all. Once I'd got the levels, we rolled with it. No loud volume because I lived next to a B&B at the time. It shows what's possible if you've got the ideas.I now record as THE LONE REARRANGER Now playing: the lone rearranger's station - The Lone Rearranger 2
