Rootsville Festival

Born In Birmingham, Bred for the world, and No Rain will stop us!

About Me

Ah well, after a week of anxiety troubling whether to cancel the event or not,we decided not to bottle it and progress as planned. Certainly the ambition was there, and their were extremely excellent and heroic performances from artists crew and organisers alike - in the most testing of adverse conditions. Unfortunately the manifest effect of the weather was to ensure delayed performance times etc - frustrating for performers and audience alike. To anyone who attended - or performed, we are really grateful for your support and can only apologise if the rain undermined your enjoyment. Please let us know your thoghts.

My Interests

Living in a community, not a marketplace. Canoeing, bridge maintenance, putting up marquees, throwing parties, staying up all night, listening to the best music we can get our hands on.

I'd like to meet:

God, to ask him why he persecutes me so.

Music:

STOP PRESS. ZULUS CONFIRM ROOTSVILLE. THE YOUNG ZULU WARRIORS HAVE CONFIRMED THAT THEY WILL BE PERFORMING AS PART OF THE FREE PERIOD AT ROOTSVILLE - ALL 28 OF THEM.

Heroes:

There are no leaders for the free.....
