THEREMYN_4 is considered one of the most important electronica acts from the peruvian scene of the last years. At the beginning, on the eclectic sounds of FLUORESCENTE VERDE EN EL PATIO (2000) and the experimental landscapes, radio frequencies and retro sound of MI VIDA EN INFRARROJO (2001), THEREMYN_4 proposes an aesthetics where the local culture, the urban life and science fiction are interpolated on the search for an own sonic and visual style. During the following years, the shows on various stages and important festivals like LOOPERACTIVA, CONTACT and PARK-O-BAHN made the live shows of T_4 a solid performance of sound and image.
The 3rd work LIMA/TOKYO/LIMA (2004) marks a stage in the evolution of THEREMYN_4. Presented at the beginning of the year in a tour on France, this work is a synthesis of styles and influences that always carved in the musical and visual concept of the project. Parallel to this work is published in June the CD PERUVIAN REMIXING CO., the first CD of remixes produced in Peru. On 2005 the group play live these two cd's all over Peru and alternate with international groups like Aviador Dro (Spain), Entre RÃos (Argentina) and Smooth (France). Also the music of Theremyn_4 sounds in various peruvian tv shows. Both works are chosen by the press as two of the best releases of the year .
SPACETIMEBOMB (2006), the new album, renews and reaffirms their sound this time driven by the roads of acid house, electro and techno always with the classic touch of breakbeat and jazz. This disc counts with the participation of outstanding peruvian musicians and the special participation of Gabriel Lucena, producer and member of the argentine band Entre RÃos.
