What City Do You Belong In?
I'd like to meet:
People who are into theater, movies, art, parties, photography, hiking, going to the beach, actively hanging out, eating, shopping, costume design, fashion. CEOs, producers, directors, other SAG actors, beauty people, hip people, laid back people, musicians, captains, MENSA members, band geeks, teachers, English majors, and multi media people. but these are just preferences. Anyone who's been to Sundance. People from Australia, New Zeland, the UK, Italy, France and Canada.
I'm looking for a script to fit myself, Annie Potts, Ron Pearlman, Seth Green, Scott Grimes, & Cole Williams - if you have one for us or a combo of us, send an email to: [email protected]
I'd also like to work with Joel Viertel, Russell Brown, Doug Petrie, Rupert Grint, Susan Sarandon, Renee Zellwiger, Joshua Bell, Nia Vardalos, Zooey Deschanel, Geena Davis, Jaime Pressly, Tom Hanks, Kiera Knightly, Jason Isaacs, Michael Rosenbaum, Jon Heder, Michael Keaton, Johnny Depp, Cillian Murphy, Orlando Bloom, Vince Vaughn, Hugh Jackman, Eddie Izzard, Tom Cruise and Zach Braff.
Music:
2006 Reeve Carney cd set, VANN GUNN cd, THE HOLIDAY soundtrack and selections from BLACK SNAKE MOAN off itunes & Imogen Heap's crawl song from NARNIA), ... I like just about anything, except too much country. Bethoven can cause rapture. The right piece of Handle with strings can cause all functions to stop. No Doubt bass line can be impossible to resist moving the body too. I'm into Alanis Morissette (the last family vacation the Youngs took - the last time we played mini golf -the last time we went to North Carolina -was when "Jagged Little Pill" hit MTV-which must have been the summer of my senior year), Ani DiFranco (college days-sophomore year), Tori Amos (high school anyone?), Dave Matthews (college-freshman year induction), Lauren Hill (post college), THE KILLERS (2005-Smile like you mean it). I have also heard the Beatles rendition of "All the Lonely People" strictly for strings and am DYING to have a copy. I directed a play to set up around it.
Love 50's 60's (I was a kid) 80's (looked forward to high school) and some of the millenium pop stuff (N'Sync, Brittney Spears). I also collect movie soundtracks.
With the exception of a few pieces and songs, the 90s mostly sucked.
Love those 80s power chords. Opening 32 bars of "Midnight Train" causes chills everytime.
and I LOVE movies from the 80s.
"Hello, speak up, is there somebody there these hang-ups are getting me down in a world frozen over with over-exposre let's talk it over, let's go out and paint the town I'm waiting by the phone waiting for you to call me up and tell me I'm not alone I want somebody to shove I need somebody to shove me you're a dream for insomniacs prize in the cracker jacks all the difference in the world is just a call away and I'm waiting by the phone..." SOUL ASYLUM "Grave Dancers Union"
Movies:
currently interested in having my new movie show at OUTFEST 2008 HEART OF THE JADE EMPRESS, E.T., Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, ITs a Wonderful Life, Rebel without a Cause.
80s movies directed to teen male demographic (not Porkys). I'm sick to death of Dances with Wolves, but it is a good movie & same goes for Last of the Mohichans
Fav movie from when I was a kid: and they JUST don't makeem like it anymore: THE NEVERENDING STORY (that and E.T.-which actually gets better the older you get). RaceYouToTheBottom
Television:
I'm working on a tv/movie career. I am Stripper 151 on "My Name Is Earl", Italian Girl/Remedial Student/whatever character they ask me to do on "Everybody Hates Chris", and I just got an UNDECLAIRED for "State of Mind". I got hired to play a patient on the show and then things got changed around so I get to show up later in the season. I'm recommended to casting for "Days of Our Lives", "General Hospital", Hallmark, Nasser Entertainment, Putch Films and Alex Rose Productions. I used to be addicted to ER and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (see blog). I used to be addicted to Sat. morning cartoons in the 80s. I currently find "Grey's Anatomy" terribly addictive...The Hallmark Channel will be showing FINAL APPROACH on April 6, 2008 so you can enjoy the performances of me as a first class flight attendant on a plane that gets hijacked by Michael Anthony Hall. That was a great few days at work.
Books:
"The Art of Practicing", Still need to practice Christopher Reeve's "Still Me" and Bonnie's book...FINISHED "Self-Management for Actors" by Bonnie Gillespie and am still using the book. Finished: "Miracles Happen" and "My Year of Meats". Still reading 3 books on agents. Finished: "All You Need To Know About The Music Business by Donald S. Passman and "Psychology for Dummies". Possibly finished "The Musician's Handbook" by Bobby Borg. "Wicked" and "Rich Dad Poor Dad for Teens" are forays into some of the best sex and financial books I've ever read. Still nibbling "How to Agent your Agent". Finished Sean Astin's biopic "An Actor's Journey" over xmass break 2004 (which is totally inspirational). I love libraries, yes I'm an ex-librarian. I find knowledge irresistable. I keep trying to expand my limitations. I'm addicted to dvds with commenaries and extras.
Heroes:
Me. Fabien/Paulan/Stacie. Dalah and my bro. "Willow" and "Buffy" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Jodie Foster, Sandra Bullock, Drew Barrymore. My mom and dad. My inner extended family and best friends and that Harry Potter author...JK Englishwoman singlemom
