Myspace LayoutsWelcome to my official music page! My stage name (and my real name!) is Sade Champagne. I am originally from Orlando, Florida, but I currently reside in Ventura, California. I am 20 years old, and an all around musician, performer, entertainer, and artist. I started singing around age 4; I first learned about singing in church. My family and friends would ask me to sing to them, and sometimes they would even pay me a dollar or two! The very first song I learned to sing is "Comin' Up The Rough Side (Of The Mountain)". It is an old gospel hymn that I sometimes still sing to this day. I began writing poetry, short stories and speeches around age 10. At around 13, I started teaching myself to dance- I used to be rhythmically challenged =D. From age 14 to now, I have taken classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, gymnastics, and breakdancing. I know all the basics of ballet, jazz, and tap, but hip hop, gymnastics, and breakdancing are my specialties. At around the same time I started dancing, I also began to turn my poetry into songs. I write about 95-100% of my lyrics (unless a producer or artist specifically writes a song/lyrics for me). In addition to all the skills I mentioned, I am also an arranger, producer, musical director, inspirational and motivational coach, artist development coach, and a spoken word artist. I am always looking for dancers, singers, rappers, producers, musicians, lyricists, (and so on) to work with! I have tons of ideas, and I would love to work with established, up-and-coming, and aspiring artists! I'm not really into labels but if I HAD to describe my singing style it would be: soul sprinkled with pop and a dash of rock, stirred with RnB, and rooted in gospel. Whew! That was hard lol!
