El Guapo Collective

El Guapo promotes shows in the Kingston Upon Thames, just south of London. We want the DIY punk scene to be based on respect so that promoters and bands know they are getting a good deal and don't have to rely on contracts, managers, lawyers...We will always feed our bands and have always met bands guarantees and and we try to pay all the bands on the night. All the money goes to the bands as well as the venues, and if we can, we try and cover costs. We have never made any money from our gigs. All of us being in bands understand the importance of sincere promoters. We hope we can play a small part in creating a vibrant UK, European, world punk scene where bands, promoters, labels, record stores and people who just want to hear music all help each other out and have a good time.
