My name's Dave and on occasion I go by the name Short Term Diary. I started making these songs at the turn of the millenium.

The Short Term Diary mp3 Club!

The Short Term Diary mp3 Club is an idea I've had to keep the music I make free for you to listen to. For years I have been making CD's which, due to the cost of manufacture and postage I have had to sell. I don't really want to do that anymore so heres the plan.
1. Sign up to the mp3 club by entering your email address in the box below.
2. Every month I will send out an email to everyone who has signed up with a direct link to a new song.
3. You download it for free.
4. You can listen/copy/share/delete the track.
5. The song is available for 1 month after I send it out. After that it will be deleted.
6. A new song is sent out to you a month later.
7. The songs that I send out will be unreleased and will not be released in the future.
8. Only people signed up to the list will get the songs
9. You do not talk about the mp3 club...
I intend to make this the main way I release music in the future. The first song went out on 1st August 2007 and future songs will go out every month on the first. You'll need to sign up before then in order to get that month's song.
THIS IS NOT A GLORIFIED WAY OF ME TRYING TO MAKE YOU SIGN UP TO MY MAILING LIST - I WILL INCLUDE DETAILS OF UPCOMING GIGS AND RELEASES IN THE EMAILS BUT THE POINT OF THIS IS NOT TO TRY AND GET YOU TO COME TO MY GIGS OR BUY ONE OF MY CD'S. ITS TO GET MY MUSIC TO PEOPLE WHO WANT TO HEAR IT WITHOUT THE CAPITALIST BULLSHIT THAT NORMALLY GOES ALONG WITH THE DISTRIBUTION OF MUSIC .
