Hailing from places as rich in musical soil as Kerrville and Austin, Texas, Danny Frazier continues in the tradition of rootsy singer/songwriters such as Steve Earle and Townes Van Zandt. Feeling chewed up and spit out by Nashville following his MCA/Decca Records release; Frazier River in the late nineties, Danny relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio to regroup. It is there that he found his muse and is now set to release his new self-titled album on the independent Grecco Records label. This collection of almost entirely self penned songs reflects not only the musical heritage of growing up in Texas as the son of a Pentecostal preacher but the lessons learned from a life in the music business. Now, with a new band and a newfound passion Danny is poised to make his most artistic Statement to date
