Mixing dirty honky-tonk and southern rock with elements of down home bluegrass and raucous roadhouse blues, Dallas Moore has developed a nationwide grass-roots following as a modern day icon of Outlaw Country Music.Stewed and brewed in the honky-tonks, motorcycle rallies and concert halls of America, Dallas and his band The Snatch Wranglers have kept up a relentless tour schedule averaging 300 dates a year supporting the royal heirarchy of Outlaw Country and Southern Rock, supporting like-minded legends, David Allan Coe, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, The Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd as well as modern day keepers of the Outlaw flame such as Shooter Jennings and white hot country duo Montgomery Gentry.Attending a Dallas Moore show has been described as a counter culture happening where his audience, a mixed bag of bikers, college kids and whiskey chuggin' rednecks is quite a site to behold. It's this melting pot and blend of traditional country and balls to the wall rock-n-roll audiences of America that has proven Dallas and his band to be one of the best live acts onstage in the good ol' USA on any given night.2008 brings the release of Dallas' 6th CD "Tales From a Road King." This is the first recording to be co-produced by Dallas and Ken Glidewell (of Big In Iowa and Tequila Kings fame) and released on Dallas' own independent "Cash Dog" imprint. It's this unrepentant "do it yer damn self" attitude that has garnered Moore national attention including 2 songs "Bad Checks" and "Every Sad Song On The Jukebox" written and performed by Dallas in the major motion picture "Nice Guys Sleep Alone". The band has also made several live national television appearances including The Travel Channel documentary "Sturgis:The Great Ride, Volume One" and The Broken Spoke Journeys Series which aired on The Fox Network, Discovery Channel and Speedvision. The band has also received an unprecedented 12 CAMMY awards from the Cincinnati Enquirer including Best Country Band, Best Country Vocalist, Songwriter of the Year and CD of the year for "Live - Back at The Saddle" as well as three CEA's (Cincinnati Entertainment Awards) for Best Country/Bluegrass Band and The Horizon Award from The Southern Music Hall Of Fame published by Gritz Magazine. The Dallas Moore Band released it's first live concert DVD "One Night In Kentucky" in 2006 and their latest CD "Tales From A Road King" is set for release on February 9th 2008.Check out the Official Dallas Moore Website at dallasmoore.com!..
