Judge Parker
A name drawn from the historic Arkansas Territory Hanging Judge, "Issac C. Parker". This band is also from the same town of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Years of hard work, dedication and just "Hangin' in There", has made Judge Parker famous again, this time for music. Brothers Larry and Arthur Pearson formed the band with a southern rock, country and blues flair. Staying true to their roots gave them a kind of sound that classic rock and southern rock fans thought was long gone. While on tour in Texas, they met William Lee Golden of the Oak Ridge Boys. Golden saw something very special in this Arkansas band that really fired him up. He gave Larry his home number that night and said, "You need to come to Nashville, I beleive in you guys, I love your music and I want to help you". Everything was finally looking up, they were now getting attention from Golden's contacts from Nashville, New York and L.A.
Since then, Judge Parker has become well known by doing an average of 200 dates per year. Judge Parker has also shared the stage with Johnny Cash, June Carter, Big and Rich, Shooter Jennings, Chris Ledoux, Marshall Tucker, Confederate Railroad, Kentucky Headhunters, Molly Hatchet, Black Oak Arkansas, .38 Special, Foghat, Jackyl, Dr. Hook, David Alan Coe and many more.
This band is also generous enough to give their time and help to raise money for many organizations such as; Feed the Children, American Cancer Society, S.I.D.S., Batered Women,Childrens Hospitals, Humane Society's and the list goes on. With a dynamic band of musicians, this act has everything that fans and talent buyers love.
