About Me

Earl is a Cowboy original. Raised in the Sandhills of Nebraska in the town of Ogallala. Earl spent his youthful years playing songs at the Front Street Show before making his run at Nashville in 88. Now married and settled near Omaha with his beautiful wife Casey and 3 teenagers, Travis, Justin and Hannah.Earl has performed for TV on the "old" Nashville Network, with area bands, been the front man for Silver Star and his own shortlived project Urban Sandhills. Earl discovered that being part of a group ain't always easy. Now he is going back to how it all started. Just him, a well tuned guitar and songs from his life and heart.Earl recently completed writing a number of new songs and is preparing submissions after becoming a new writer/publisher affiliate with SESAC in Nashville. Since joining with a new band in 07, Earl plans to hit the stage with his pals in Cowboy Up! and throw in some originals while doing his level best to cover some of his favorite artists.His guidlines for writing and performing: If the people feel something because of what I play. If they connect with it, dance, sing, laugh or cry, then I did something special. Even if some "critic" doesn't appreciate it, as long as my audience enjoys it, that's my goal.
