HotFreeLayoutsHey all. My name is Scott and I'm an independent producer/engineer and musician from Omaha, NE. I've been playing and performing since the age of six and producing/engineering for more than 20 years.I got my professional start as a producer/engineer right out of high school when I took a staff position with Soundtrek Studios (Kansas City, MO). While employed there, I developed my skills by creating custom music packages for television and radio commercials and corporate videos. I also spent a great deal of time doing location audio for many independent and documentary films.After leaving Soundtrek, I spent a couple of years on the road as the Musical Director for one of the bands I had produced. This was a great experience in that It allowed my to travel the world and meet some really amazing people.In 2000 I graduated from college with a degree in Aviation Admin. While in school I started Music Factory Productions (www.musicfactoryproductions.com). This ended up being a good move since the events of 9/11 put a damper on my career in aviation.Everything happens for a reason I guess. It's all good. I'm doing what I've always been passionate about...music. I love being creative. Even more...I love helping others achieve their creative goals. There is no greater joy than seeing a writer, artist, or band's raw idea blossom into something truly amazing.
