About Me

I am a lead guitarist, songwriter and vocalist. Music is a large part of my heritage. I come from a long line of musicians, even those living in Ireland before they migrated to the US in the 1600's. I have photos of my family in bands back in to the 1800's... I guess you could say my love for music was a gift handed down to me and I'm so grateful for all the love and support my father gave me before he passed away. I've had many musical influences in my life and like several genres. My first musical hero was my father. Later in life, Butch Hendrickson, was my mentor.. He continues to be so, even though he is no longer with us. Butch was "my bass guitarist". The proudest part of my life is that all four of my sons are extremely gifted musicians. Chris Brown from Pain Link and 80 Below. Charlie Brown from the 80 Below. Damon Brown on acoustic guitar and Justin Elias. Chris, Charlie, Damon, Justin and I are all songwriters. My ex-husband, Fritz Judd and I always had musical instruments around the house for the kids to learn how to play. They knew the instruments were not "toys" and grew up respecting instruments and the whole realm of musicianship. Even though our styles are all different, Fritz and I like to think we gave them that "soulful" feel to their music. Growing up in the sixties had a lot to do with that! We all have our own preferences, musically speaking. The common bond of music intertwines our family styles into a multi-genre musical tapestry!
