Dirty Wings

The band Dirty Wings was started by Nikki (bass player) and Alex, the young drummer, in late 2006. After a month Ginny (singer/guitarist) and Gixi (guitarist) arrived to complete the line-up. Dirty Wings started in this period of touring small Alessandria clubs, like Four Bears, Area 51 and Mephisto rock Cafè to gain more recognition and live experience. Then in december, Gixi, needed a break from the band and left it for a few months. The band never stopped to play and to make jigs. Despite all the problems they’ve also recorded their first few tracks. The result is the Dirty Wings EP. It consists of three songs, Sweet Dreams, Never Rip and Overdrive realized with the experience of Federico Pennazzato, the actual drummer of the metal band Secret Sphere. In june Gixi came back and, with the line-up complete again, the band finally got themselves onto their feet and had their first show in months on October 31, 2006 at Mephisto Rock Cafè, supporting a Metal Band called Century. The new line up has a new drummer, Sere...she started to play with us just 2 months ago and she's the last member we needed. “Stronger then ever…like angels who aren’t looking for heaven… now we’re working hard to find our sound and realizing our new songs.
