“BANGARANG” – the sun rises in the east!

Since 2004 the „BANGARANG Live“ event was the no. 1 for all Reggae, Dancehall and Ska lovers in the east of Saxony and attracts visitors from all corners of the republic as well as from Poland to the most eastern town of Germany.
From the 18th to the 20th if July 2008 the “BANGARANG Festival” will take place for the first time at “Berzdorfer See”, a large lake nearby Goerlitz. It is getting louder, bigger and even more colorful.

…is an established trademark in the international reggae scene. On account of its tempting line up it will also become a compulsory event in the international hip hop scene. On Sunday there will be a focus on families (0-99 years) as a contribution for elating especially people in the local region from the idea of celebrating a festival next to the prospective tourist attraction “Berzdorfer See”. With the “BANGARANG Festival” we will establish the area around “Berzdorfer See” for all festival enthusiasts as an exciting place for adventures as well as recreation in the touristic domain of the upper Lusatia region.

Seit vier Jahren ist es der Nummer 1-Termin für alle Reggae, Dancehall und Skafans Ostsachsens und holt im September noch einmal die Hitze des Sommers in den Club. Doch in diesem Jahr will es mehr. Es wird größer, bunter und lauter. Ein Umzug war die logische Konsequenz, aber der neue Ort sollte ein ganz besonderer sein. Inmitten der Zukunftslandschaft Görlitz-Zgorzelec wurde er gefunden, die Strandarena am Berzdorfer See. Der Wunsch nach mehr Größe sollte damit in Erfüllung gehen, aber für Sonne satt muss der Einweihungstermin gut gewählt sein. Unter Auswertung von 100 Jahren Wetteraufzeichnungen fiel die Wahl auf das dritte Wochenende im Juli08. Die Standarena besteht aus zwei Bühnen, der Sportarea, den Strandbars und vielen weiteren Attraktionen. Nachts wird sich das Gelände in ein riesiges Farbenmeer verwandeln. Willst du es erleben? Dann werde Eins mit dem „BANGARANG“-Festival am Berzdorfer See und mach es vom 18.-20.07.2008 - größer, bunter und lauter als je zuvor.
