Susan Lützner (biography)
[email protected] / Live video clips belowI'm one of those singers, who can sing anything e.g. high soul belting or quiet folk. Songs from the soul delivered directly from my heavy yet interesting baggage of life.
Sometimes I'm very confused which style I should choose.
I think my heart is getting more and more into motown, rock, blues and folk with my personal touch, but still sometimes you will catch me singing something completely different. I also play acoustic guitar and congas. Most of my own songs are "atmospheric" folk often spiced with vocal jumps. My lyrics are rather based on a feeling than telling a long story.I didn't start up at the age of five and music school was probably something for richer kids. Instead I was a dancer. A wild kid breaking and skating. Later on I was rapping for some crazy, but very fun years!!
In the mid nineties I started a dancing school teaching street moves, and I've been touring around Scandinavia with street skating and Hip Hop dance shows on rollerskates. Today, I think a lot of my soul and funk rhythm comes from my dancing
In 2006 I finished the "Advanced Soloist" singing education at CVI.
At the section to the left, you will find information about the set ups that I’m currently playing in.
Daily, I work as a Senior Venture Fund Manager. Sometimes it's a bit schizophrenic to have a career in the financial world, and then do gigs in the evening. The worlds are so different!!
I'm always looking for collaboration with producers/songwriters, and if you need a vocalist or band, you are very welcome to contact me.
