Paul Newman 1925-2008 EDDIE SHORE OLD TIME HOCKEY

About Me

Hooked on music since the age of 3 when first hearing the magic of the Beatles. It wasn't until the ripe age of 6 that destiny would call after attending my 1st Johnny Winter concert. Sometime in 1978 Mike Carlucci (Winter Hours) lent me the Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton. That record changed my life. ============================================================ ======I Played in the Blues rock bands Rajun River & Falcon in the 80's and in the 90's finding the club scene stagnant retired. During that period I rediscovered the beauty and complex simplicity of acoustic slide guitar and the beauty of Delta Blues.====================================================== ============Formed a duo in 2002 with Mike Santos of Raunch Tone fame called Hotfootpowder, went solo in 2003 and teamed up with my friend harmonica player John Cap in 2004 -2005. ============================================================ ===== In 2006 went back into retirement to get electrified. From May of 2007 to Sept 2007 joined the Lone Wolf Blue Venom Band. Nov 2007 to Current playing with the Livin The Blues Band. ============================================================ ======I was bestowed the ultimate Honor of having my song "For Stevie" selected, reviewed and featured by Michael Molenda editor of Guitar Player Magazine for his Big Eight Column of the June 2008 issue. The following is the excerpt from Guitar Player "Normally, this title would send me running because I'm simply not a fan of sound alike tributes. But Moore's wah-phrased yowels and intense attack make this more of a "SRV" by the way of Mick Ronson"homage. Moore's note choices are juicy, his tone is tight and articulate and his bends are sexy as hell. " ============================================================ ======I currently endorse Tungsten Amplifiers. Stop by their site and listen to some sound clips I did just for them. http://www.tungstenamp.com/ ============================================================ =====goto my official web site @ www.hotfootpowderblues.com
