Born into royalty, Princess - Neriah Sky, (a Taino descendant) best known as “NERIAH†now 24 years is the surviving child of King and Queen “Mica†of the lost Island of Sonora which was located off the coast of Puerto Rico.
In the early 1980’s this once small but beautiful Island was destroyed by what historian’s described as one of the most violent tropical hurricanes known to man. By the time the storm had cleared the island and all of its residents had vanished! All, but one! Neriah! Miraculously, young Neriah (only 8 years old at the time) was discovered (by what became her foster parents) in a tiny, row-boat that had drifted to the shores of Isla de San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Her new loving parents (both ranking officers in the military) immediately recognized their enchanted daughter was gifted with a beautiful voice, like that of an angel. So, they encouraged her to harness her musical talents, by purchasing her musical equipment and placing her in musical events. By the age of 18, Neriah had gained national attention, especially throughout all of South America. Her name was as popular as music itself!
She was considered the calm of the earth, until one day a massive fire raged thru the Villas where she and her parents lived. People were frantic and hysterical doing whatever they could to combat the blazes. All seemed lost, until, Neriah profoundly called upon the Wind and the Rain! With her fist raised to the heavens, lightning bolted from her arm into the clear skies! She raised her beautiful voice in harmony! And suddenly a colorful rainbow ranged across the sky and heavy rains and winds fell upon the earth and the Villas. Within, minutes the raging fire was extinguished. All in attendance marveled at this supernatural event. Even Neriah, herself seemed amazed at what had just happened. And thus the legend of PRINCESS NERIAH, begins. An undeniable force and symbol of strength now guards and protects the community of Talentzville and Urban Nation!
