Jemicia is a black & latin sensation who has several years of experience in the entertainment industry. This bilingual phenomenon was formerly a lead vocalist of a female trio called Mind Body and Soul which included radio personality from 98.5 the Beat's very own Valencia, along another local artist by the name of Michelle. MBD was produced and managed by Trey Little a well known Saxophonist out of California, the group split in about 1993, Jemicia was later discovered by owner and manager of what was once the Cotton Club of S.A. Jemicia was performing Jazz covers every Tuesday as a lead vocalist for a group known as Reminisce, continuing her love for singing and in her short career with Reminisce she was discovered by Julius "J.C." Williams in 1998 who started to manage her singing career. Working with Julius led her to work with several major industry artists, performing in various cities in Texas from Corpus, Dallas, San Antonio and continuing her journey to success traveling back and forth with projects in the Bronx and Manhattan N.Y. One of which she had the honor of working with multi-talented Latin/Pop/Hip Hop Artist/Producer Hans Geraldo who's a well respected artist/producer of the Barrio Boyzz. Jemicia recorded the vocals on a track titled "Put me On" both produced and written by Hans. Upon returning to Texas, Jemicia continued her career as a talented writer and songstress and was asked to open up along with Soloman at 98.5 the Beat's Birthday Bash in Rosedale Park S.A., Texas. Jemicia has opened for major industry artists including Ludacris, Bizzy Bone and Truth Hurts just to name a few and is currently working on an album, scheduled to drop in mid January. She is a phenomenal songwriter, professional dance choreographer and a talented songstress with a very sultry and sexy stage appeal.
