About Me

Indifish Film is an independent collective of film making folk who make movies for themselves. With no financial backers, overblown-egos or pretencious ideas Indifish Film usually ends up appealing to the majority of film loving folk.
Indifish Film was actually founded in 1999 by Darren Fisher under it's original name Little Fish Film to create a series of short films. These were a make-shift 'film school' for all involved and in May 2006 Fisher updated the whole network under the new name Indifish Film and released his official debut 'Shanks' which was met with great acclaim.
Later in 2006 Fisher released an experimental short called 'Never Stir The Tea Anti-Clockwise, Kenzo' starring his younger brother and Little Fish veteran Andrew Fisher. This film was met with a fantastic reaction and probed much debate as to the message of the film. This was taken further in early 2007 with the sequel short 'Don't Sit Too Close To The TV, Kenzo' in which Darren Fisher starred.
Following these three successes Fisher dramatically announced he was taking a break to concentrate on other projects. A few months later a young rapper named Indi Fisher started to rise though the independent ranks, known to few people that he was in fact Darren Fisher of Indifish Film. Having found a little success in music and having released his debut mixtape, Darren Fisher announced he was to return to film making.
Fisher is currently working on several short projects and music videos which will be announced here first.
