About Me


Indi Fisher started out on the Guildford music scene in November 2006 but already has over two hundred gigs to his name. Having played the prestigious Notting Hill Arts Club, frequented in the past by the likes of Lily Allen and Mark Ronson, after a few months of having established himself Indi quickly asserted himself as a bright hope for the future of British hip hop.
After six months of gigging and writing Indi released his first bootleg mixtape ‘Shambles Vol. 1’ – a collection of remixes and hip hop dubs in his own comedic fashion. Taking influence from the likes of ‘The Amateur Transplants’ and ‘Weird Al Yankovic’ as well as British hip hop artists such as ‘Example’, ‘The Streets’ ‘Plan B’ and ‘Skrein’, Fisher quickly developed his own style of blending acoustic melodies with comedic rap lyrics for which he received both compliment and criticism. Often upsetting certain political groups with his cheeky sexist lyrics, Fisher also carries a ‘bad boy’ reputation of having been barred and banned from several different establishments.
After nearly a year in business, Fisher had shifted near 300 copies of his first CD and was looking to move on to bigger and brighter things. Indi Fisher no longer stands as just a comedy rapper who frequents the bars of Guildford. He has become a product; in the way he dresses, the way he presents himself and the way he writes his material.
