Lennon John is a budding new artist emerging from the streets of Cincinnati Ohio, instilling a fresh new take on classic R&B music. Currently Lennon John has debuted his new album titled "Audio Reality; Life in Music."
On May 23, 1980; a young boy proclaimed Lennon Jason George was born at Manhattan Hospital in New York, New York. At the age of eight his family moved to Cincinnati Ohio. It was not long after his family realized that he had an aptitude for music. In the spring of 1992 joining an elite group of students, he was accepted into the school for the creative and performing arts or S.C.P.A. There, he was part of the Premier Children's Choir of Cincinnati and also he studied acting and musical theatrics.
Life wasn't always uncumbersome for young Lennon. At the age of 17 he was detained for aggrevated robbery and was sentenced to four years in prison. While incarcerated he spent most of his time honing his craft as a rapper and a singer as well as gaining new skills as a composer and producer. In the spring of 2002 he was released after serving his entire sentence. He emerged back on the streets and the music scene a determined, hungry artist. Lennon went on to work with such studios as Chess World Entertainment and High Tech Studios. In the winter of 2005 is where he found his genuine musical inspiration at Ill Rated Studios under producer Kidd Dirty, whom after hearing him sing, convinced him to drop rap all together and let his voice be his ladder. Since the release of his first album he has done over 75 live shows with such big names as Twista,Afro man,Dem franchise boyz, Cassidy, Paul wall and Freeway to name a few and is also preparing to go on tour with Slik,B5,Young Joc,Flo-rida and Trina. Lennon has also been interviewed on t.v.20 Cleveland, Boss magazine ,Intro magazine, Playa T that’s me.com, Fox8 Cleveland. He was also nominated for three awards at the Ohio hip hop awards (best live preformnce,best male vocalist, and viewers choice.) and the hits keep coming.
