Ella

I am an illustrator/artist and I've almost finished my education at the Willem De Kooning Academy of Arts in Rotterdam, where I major in illustration. I also have an MSc degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

I spent part of my childhood living in Venezuela and Scotland, but have been living in Holland for a very long time now...bit too long maybe :) I love travelling, I went on a 5-month trip to Russia and Mongolia a few years ago, which was great. Would love to make more trips like that in the future! I've put up a lot more pictures of my trip in my picture-section btw, if you're interested.
I have an equal passion for both music and visual art, I love to draw and paint, and I play the piano. But since I can't do everything in life, I chose art to be my profession. I feel I can express myself better in art anyway. I started this whole myspace-thing for my illustration work, to maybe meet some other illustrators and see their work, having no idea that myspace was so focussed on music. So I got carried away with all that music a little...so now I'm here for the music mainly, and friends. I really enjoy discovering all this new music, since, apart from a strange heavy metal-period as a teenager I never listened to anything else but classical music (which is absolutely beautiful of course!). But I guess I'm in the mood for something else to add to that now.
