Culture Lovers Higher Fidelity Sound is a Brooklyn based Culture Sound System livicated to uplifting the youth.
DJ I Shasta held a residency in SB,Cali, jugglin' the Lastest Culture & Conscious Dancehall tunes in 2005-2006,while also making guest appearances at the Drink in Ventura for Dancehall Thursdays with his bredda and inspiration DJ Ambassador Jr.In late 2006, he made the move back to NY to pursue a degree in Graphic Design and take his sound more "Underground".
Now in 2007 Dj I Shasta resides home in Brooklyn building Culture Lovers Dub Box & working on various other NEW projects.One of those Projects is a King Ali Baba exclusive mix featuring Dubs,Specials & Big Tunes from this diverse artist hailing from Clarendon,JA.DJ I Shasta also is currently dropping riddim mixes feat sweet culture versions from Jamaica, the US, the UK,Trinidad & Tobago,USVI,Bermuda & worldwide.Check out the Riddim mixes on his page to hear & feel the Culture message delivered by this Selecta.Dj I Shasta is also a contributor to the new magazine in the NY Metro "Dancehall 360 Degrees" and has used this opportunity to promote new Talent worldwide.Check the magazine out, D360 is in his top friends.(local NYC you can check Ethipoian Taste and Moodys for your copy of issue 1 feat D'Angel,Angel Doolas,dj I Shasta,dj Richie Poo,Sample King & local parties)
