NRG – Powered by Choice, is an innovative cause campaign for youth ages 13-18 to promote and lead changes that support healthy eating and active lifestyles in schools and communities.
It doesn’t matter if youth belong to the school newspaper, football team, math club, or 4H, they can all be part of making powerful and healthy changes. This grass-roots campaign will connect youth leaders to the collective work of industry, media, schools, recreation agencies, and local organizations such as YMCA’s and businesses working to improve nutrition and physical activity. Everyone is capable of voicing their opinion while finding their own personal balance between what they choose to eat and how they choose to be active.
So…check NRG out. Use your power. Be heard.
At the end of the day you might even find you feel good – both inside and out.
It’s about choice.
When it comes to what you eat and what you do, you want choices at your school, in your community, or wherever you are. Whatever you’re into, put the power of choice in your hands: more healthy choices at lunch, more ways to get physically active, more ways to connect to friends and new people, more ways to have fun.

It’s about balancing the calories you take in and the energy you put out, exercising and just hanging out, healthy snacking and, well, not so healthy snacking.
