Timeless Jazz Quartet, recently put together by their four elements - Air, Water, Earth and Fire, or shall we say Rozette Caixinha (vocals), Fernando Domingos (piano/keyboards), Rui Vasconcelos (bass) and VirgÃlio Mora (drums), aims at performing their (free) way of playing timeless songs of the American Songbook such as Body and Soul, Tenderly, Time remembered, There Will Never Be Another You or Stella By The Starlight, combined with others songs of such composers and performers as Bill Evans, Chick Corea, Duke Ellington to name just a few.
Their personal quartet and trio interpretations of those timeless songs also aim at running through a process of constructing and deconstructing time and melody, which implies that each musician has to live by oneself and at the same time interacting with each other, having as common ground the song itself.
