EVA THÄRICHEN was born in 1974 in Berlin, Germany.
After finishing highschool she studied at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin, majoring in the subjects voice, drama and dance.
During her period of education she already had some engagements at theaters. She was also a member of the Bundesjazzorchester (German Youth Bigband) conducted by famous composer/arranger Peter Herbolzheimer, playing many gigs in Germany and touring through european countries such as Hungary, Romania, Turkey and Croatia.
She is employed at theaters all over Germany, e.g. Schauspielhaus Berlin, Staatstheater Cottbus, Neuköllner Oper (Berlin), Bauhaus Dessau, Bremer Theater, Bar jeder Vernunft (Berlin), Schmidt (Hamburg), Lustspielhaus (München), Kommödchen (Düsseldorf), Neues Theater Höchst, Tipi (Berlin) as well as performing at theater festivals and presenting readings.
She participated in some TV-productions for broadcasting stations like ZDF and RTL and she was acting for several filmlets. Furthermore she was singing theme songs for diverse TV series, movies and cartoons such as Marcelino, Card Captor Sacura and Pinocchio.
Since 2003 she is teaching voice at the Akademie für Bühnentanz Balance 1. She is the featured vocalist at many gigs of berlin-based bigband The Flintstones as well as on their debut full length album.
Besides freelance in different projects she established her own group in spring of 2005, collaborating with some well-known musicians of the berlin jazz scene. This ensemble is playing reharmonized arrangements and adaptations of cover songs and original tunes.
