The Flintstones Big Band

Big Band Jazz from Berlin-Kreuzberg

About Me

It’s been said the Flintstones began their career sometime near the end of the Stone Age-back in the days when notes were chiseled in stone and instruments weighed up to 100 tons… Concrete evidence indicates their existence dates at least back to the mid-80’s when 20 Musicians from Berlin’s Kreuzberg district left their hunting and gathering ways to form the Flintstones Big Band. Since 1996 Daniel Busch has led the Flintstones not only through the all the different big band styles from swing to Latin, Rock and Pop, but also, in recent years, to various theme concerts. These have included the legendary “TV and Movie Music” (featuring a big helping of Criminal Thrillers) and “Hits, Hits, Hits” packed with the top of the charts in big band sound. The bands good name in the Berliner jazz scene has earned it some great working partners such as Gayle Tufts and Pascal von Wroblewski. The Flintstones’ inspired performances on their tours through Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Poland and Japan have left audiences electrified and wanting more…
