About Me

There is no me, there is just we. What you see on my profile is what you get. No mess, no fuss. In case you're wondering about the flyers with the band, The Deviators, that was the band that I played bass for back in the day (late 80's/early 90's). As I said, what you see is what you get, and I think my listed interests, flyers, photos(not the ones of me, silly, the ones on my page), etc, pretty much sum up who I am and what I'm all about.

My Interests

Social Work, Sociology, Urban Studies, Music, Literature, Film, Travel, Football(Soccer), Glasgow Celtic F.C., Art(Painting/Sculpture/Photography,Basquiat, Pollock, David Wojnarowicz, etc.), Restaurants, Psychology, Self-Help, Spirituality, Recovery, Crossword Puzzles, Subcultures(Punk, Beat, Mod, Skinhead, Rockers, Teddy Boys, Football/Soccer Hooligans, etc.), Protest Movements, Student Movements(US/Paris,etc.), Situationist/Lettrist Movement/Philosophy(Guy Debord, etc.), HIV/AIDS work/activism, Postmodernism/Poststructuralism(Foucault, etc.), Black Civil Rights Movement, Feminism, Gay/Lesbian Rights Movement, Family/Friends, Bookstores/Record(CD)Stores, Politics(Left Wing, basically), Freedom Fighters Internationally, My Heritage(Scottish/Irish/Italian/Slovak),COMPASSION/EMPATHY/S ELFLESSNESS, etc.

I'd like to meet:

I do not expect people to share in all of my interests (ex.-my politics). Nonetheless, if you feel that you have a lot in common with me in other areas of interest, that's fine. I'd still welcome you as a friend. At least be who you really are. I don't need people on here asking me to explain myself and don't expect others to explain themselves to me. I have no interest in people that use Myspace to create an alter ego that is nothing like the person they are in reality. I just set up this new profile because my old one was out of hand. I had way too many people on my friends' list, couldn't keep up with all of the messages, and accepted friend requests from bands I wasn't even into, and people that I had nothing in common with at all. It turned into more of a stressful thing, rather than a cool place to meet likeminded people, exchange information, etc. I will be keeping my friends' list much smaller this time for many reasons, including the aforementioned, but I am not an elitist or a snob by any means. So you won't find me denying a friend request because I think I'm too cool for you. That's just not me. That said, I think I've pretty much summed up who I'd like to meet.
