Hello there Neighbour and Neighbourettes; I am Don Q., Editor in Chief of The Inside Story Newspaper. One of Gay Toronto's leading media publications, with the hottest happenings in the coolest places. Our 500 community listings are not exclusively gay or lesbian. BTW: anything in Yellow is a web link.
Work part-time, for EPRF a Canadian environmental policy institute. For several years, I was on the Board of Directors of a Toronto food bank, but now just volunteer, putting on music events and art auctions to raise money and food supplies for Toronto's Homeless I am one of the Co-Founders of Queer West Fest -Toronto | Co-Founder of Java Knights a Queer Public forum working in collaboration with the AIDS Committee of Toronto. | I am also on Facebook
In case your curious? The Inside Story is a Queer view with national news and local events, from west Toronto's inner city villages in the Annex, Beaconsfield, Brockton, Kensington, Liberty, Parkdale, Roncesvalles, Little Portugal and Little Italy. The Inside Story is Ancient Forest Friendly. We are a strictly online newspaper since 1996.
As news and entertainment editor of The Inside Story I am committed to promoting the excellence of National News, Arts and Cultural community in Gay Toronto's Queer West Village Gay Toronto has 2 villages the Traditional one and Queer West for the younger hip bohemians, all orientations and genders.
I am delighted to be working with and help to promote the Annual Toronto International - Queer West Film Festival
Our newspaper's goal is out to delight, amuse and educate you and to stir up fresh ideas. Which probably accounts for our little website getting about 42,000 hits a day!
I also publish a Queer Blog which Toronto's NOW Magazine chose in 2005 as one of Toronto's Smart and Sexy Queer Blogs "A brilliant send-up of Canada's new queer mecca. It's written with attitude, verve and style and really informs people about the goings-on in Gay Toronto's other village."
GOT QUEER TORONTO GIGS??? This month or next. Get listed Hot Ticket Events happening in Gay Toronto's - Queer West Village (Queer and Straight Gay Friendly).
