Gompa was formed by the two lead vocalists, Jake Daniel (Scarborough, England)and Maik Pehrsson (Zurich,Switzerland) in London 2001.
For all you die-hard fans: GOMPA IS BACK! It has been a while, but Gompa are now back in the EU after a long and draining tour in the Himalayas. Jake, Maik and Dan are now poised to begin work on the upcoming album. One or two songs will be released right here within the next month, keep an eye open. As soon as recording has been completed, the band will do some warm-up gigs in their incredibly polite and tired base-town of Stockholm later this fall.
COME SEE GOMPA'S FIRST GIG IN 6 MONTHS!! Stockholm on the 15th of November: Harry B. James; Göteborg sometime thereafter (date to be announced): Hard Rock Cafe and Sticky Fingers.
