This is OhWeBe!
OhWeBe sprung up from the ground in the fall of 2003. Their first location was the small town Nynäshamn, just south of Stockholm Sweden, where they all grew up. OhWeBe stayed in Nynäshamn for two years, but when most of the band members moved closer to the capital it was natural for OhWeBe to find a new rehearsal spot in Stockholm.
The music
OhWeBe is influenced alot by Punk Rock and Rock 'n roll Music. They make the best of both worlds. More energy than rock, less anachy than punk.
To appreciate OhWeBe at its fullest you have to see the band live. The chemistry between the four members and the energy of the music is an experience you'll never forget.
OhWeBe's lyrics are written by Johan Lagercrantz and Magnus Lagercrantz. Because there are two wrighters the stories in the songs can differ quite a bit. Both brothers have their own style in song wrighting. But OhWeBe is still a rock band, so if the songs aren't about sex drugs n rock 'n roll they are about heartbreaking and broken hearts.
Experience
Sice the band started playing 2003 most venues in Stockholm and Nynäshamn have felt the sweat of OhWeBe. They have also put their mark in a bunch of other towns in Sweden.
Over the years OhWeBe have recorded tree 3-track demos which is avalible for downloading on ohwebe.com and myspace. OhWeBe is now in the process of wrighting and recording a full length album. It's expected to be out in early 2009.
