About Me
Percussionist, studied in the Universidade Federal da Bahia, Brazil and with masters such as Frank Malabé, Eduardo Lazaga, Fernando “Leo†Leobons, Raul Pineda, Nicolas Arnicho, Angel ¨Cachete¨Maldonado, Anthony Carrillo, Little Johny Rivero, and Los Papines. He has developed musical projects in diverse areas; we can mention his collaboration with Dr. Humberto Maturana in his Institute with his project of drum circles and MusicLab.
In his career of more than 25 years he has played with different artists in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Dominican Rep., Uruguay and Portugal, such as Daniela Mercury, Calinhos Brown (WR Studios), Ramiro Mussoto(WR Studios), Bragadá, Banda Eva, Zeca Barreto, Jeff Gardner Group, , Gerônimo, Roberto Méndez, Luis Caldas, Nicolás Arnicho, Chancho en Piedra, Luis Jara, Cristián Cuturrufo, Daniel Lencina, MOMIX clinic (Santiago Chile), Huara Group, Garagem Group, Rumbahiana, Nico Asumpçao, Raul Mascarenhas, Raul de Souza, Bocato, Ibrahim Ferrer Jr., among many others. He has performed workshops for LP (Latin Percussion) in Chile, Brazil and Dominican Republic. He has formed many percussionists like , Leonardo Reis (Gilberto Gil - Caetano Veloso - Marisa Monte).
In the year 2001 becomes the first Chilean musician International Official Endorser of Latin Percussion. Year 2002 becomes Professor of the Percussion Class of the College of Music of SCD, at this time the School of Music of Arcis University. Year 2006 becomes Professor of Percussion of the Program of Pop music of Universidad de Chile.
