Born and raised in the beautiful land of Kenya,VQEE has been performing since she was a little girl.Her journey in the industry began with one of Kenyas biggest theatre companies.Heartstrings Ensemble and has taken her to various countries including Ghana,The US,Uganda,Cote DÃvoire etc where she worked with various well known actors,singers and directors on various stage and screen projects including African Julius Caesar,The three sisters,Kali Ma(written and directed by Emery Lauten).She trained at the Agoro Theatre Company in cape coast Ghana and at the UCLA in California US.She is now based in Copenhagen Denmark where she is working with singer/producer Claus Seest on her debut album.You can listen to her music on www.myspace.com/vqeemusic...music that blends her african traditional roots with modern elements to create a contemporary unique pop sound..watch this space..
