I 'm Kataix ,aka " Adolfo Kataix Araus " ( have been called like this in the band ) and play the piano , keyboards and rhodes in the Bitman & Roban Band . We have three albums in Chile with a good nice style, ( hiphop , lounge , jazz , electronica , latin ) , and our third album "Musica para despues de almuerzo" will be released by Nacional Records next April 11.

I'm a composer, arranger,songwriter,producer,and dreamer in many styles of music since 1987 and have been working for years making music and songs for television series ,theatre , theatre for kids , somes " rockstars " albums , and diferents "alternative" proyects, like Mandalic Theatre and blah,blah,blah.
But now, I'm starting my personal trip " Kataix K9D " with a laptop and a simple keyboard , looking for places to play live . Very simple and very cool . My music has elements of trance , house and ethnic music . I use samples from Ghana , Marrakech, India , the Amazon and New Guinea with different instruments playing sacred melodies and rhythms . I dont do big tours or have thousands of people going to see me , but this is the music that I like at this moment in my life , and I'm having fun with it . Sometimes I think my music is looking to celebrate anything , anytime . I've played a lot of clubs and bars in Santiago , Chile , as well as two or three big parties that were very , very cool .
