About Me

"Thanx for taking the time to check out my profile and to learn a little more about me...please enjoy.I first started MC-ing professionally as Rudeboy” in 91-92 but I had been practicing my trade for a couple of years prior snatching the MIC (or in many cases the DJs headphones) with every opportunity at clubs, house parties, unlicensed raves and on underground radio shows. In the early nineties I started DJ-ing on Adelaide’s University Radio Station 5UV AM on underground music program "Quay Radio" Friday nights playing only “Jungle Techno” hence the name Rudeboy. This paved the way for me to introduce on the mic and MC along with some of the worlds leading electronic and dance music DJs, producers and artists. My Interests

Music:

Band Members: One Rudeboy is enough!
Influences: My Influences come from diverse range of UK / US & Australian urban poets /singers plus my style is based on a variety of Hip Hop / DnB / Jungle / Breaks / Rave and Hardcore MCs (way too many to list).I love MCing to harder energy driven styles of dance music including: Hard House, Hard Trance, Hardcore, Gabba, Hardstyle and Freeform.
Ive also MCed over many variations of House, Techno, Trance, Progressive, Breaks, DnB and old school rave.
"Im no rapper, Im not a singer or a recording artist...Im just an MC"
Sounds Like: An OZe MC that hypes the dance floor into a frenzy...Really most of the time Im just improvising or freestylin’ from my heart and my head over the top of someone else’s music or during their Live show... I simply enjoy the challenge of trying to get the right balance between shutin’ the fu*k up while the artist is performing and lifting the Party, Club or Music Festival up to the next level.
Record Label: MTME Records (Music To My Ears)
