Matt Fear...is a name you may be hearing a little more often that you might have thought in and around Leeds in the coming months.Originally from Wakefield (and proud)Matts recently back in his hometown after living in Leeds for 3 years, his DJ-ing career has only really just begun, having first graced the wheels of steel about a year ago Matt is the freshest of Yorkshires home grown talent...with production already in progress with the help of Ableton and other top software you could be hearing his own sound and various remixes very soon.Style wise Matt can't be pigeon holed into one genre of house...his collection of vinyl AND cd boasting an eclectic mix of funky uplifting anthems right through to supercharged, dirty, gritty, and wonky underground beats...something for everyone;from the likes of Whelan and Di Scala through to Ed Kane and Stupid Fresh.Matt, after DJ-ing for less than a year already has residencies at Disco Mafia(Coco Lounge-Saturday),Spangled (every Friday @ Religion) Back2mine@Stinkies (one of the most sought after places to play on the Leeds scene) and regular and guest sets include , SHrug @ the love apple and Jackanory @ My house. Also having played at nights such as Filth, Dirty Nights(Scarborough), Funktd and Viagra. Matt has also recently had the priveledge of playing his first set @ GLASSHOUSE @ GATECRASHER...all this bringing him the priveledge of playing alongside big name DJ's such as Viktor Valasko, Audiosync, Marc Leaf,Nick Ostertag,Twisted Development,Lloyd F,Jo Kira,Will Matthews,Levi Lewis, Ian Carey, D&G(Back2Mine),Simon-the Frost-Frosty, Tetchy(Dirty Nights), OLI8-170,Martyn Russo, Danny Savage,Ginna,Workshy Rene,Eddie Regano,Luke Pompey Paul Rough, Jamie Fisher and King Tut and the Wookie.With a spontaneous,wild and crazy streak, Matt loves to do things off the cuff, and this really comes across in one of his sets with the ability to play 'across the board' and also adapt to the crowd, not just playing to his own preference.Like anyone on the scene partying is just as important,joking about with mates, and for anyone who knows him well-a bit of sarchasm never hurt anyone..as long as they give some back.Theres no feeling for Matt like dropping 'the' tune that results in the crowd cheering and throwing there hands in the air in the early hours of the morning...look out for flyers on this page and regular bulletins for info on where you can catch him!!Special Mentions......Jess(soulmate),Chan(sis),Aden(bro),Oli8-170(br
