Hola!
Well, Im just an oddball who loves to write music, sing and talk sillyness, anything to do with smiling, dancing and things that just generally make ya happy is alreet by me! People describe my sound as a little bit acoustic, a little bit soulful and a little bit funky! Id be tempted to agree. Id probably describe the songs I write as personal, original, proper (if your not yorkshire, you wont get it) and a little bit cool... Iv grown up a lot in the past two years and so has my music. Im currently working hard and writing my album, working with some talented beans!
I was born on the 1st of June 1986, making me a crayzeee Gemini, and rightly so! My Mum tells me I'm special, I blame it on the stars.
I suppose my love for music started when I was just a lil teeny bopper, with my head nodding vigorously to things like Earth, Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Prince, and all the usual suspects, the musical legends they are! Thanks to Daddy.
Never really took vocals and songwriting seriously until about 2 years ago, Id always done it, just never pursued it, did the odd acoustic set with the Dad but nothing hardcore, left school with GCSE's and college with 'A' levels in Maths, Sociology, and Law, and stayed on the education route, starting a Law degree until .... Mr Cowell's head popped up on my TV screen and I wanted his opinion! The rest is history, X factor, Final 12, upheaval and a complete turnaround of my life, back to what I was meant to do, or something like that.
Did the PA's, Arena tour, tried a little bit of dance stuff, magazines, the stories, the interviews, the 'fame', the photoshoots. I had a brilliant time and learnt a lot about the industry, met some amazing people aswell, but Id had enough of singing other people's songs for a year, so I started to knuckle down and get me some proper music, the result, the tuneage above.
So keep an ear open for the album very soon.
