JUD MAHONEY AND JO PERRY...In the year 2000, JUD went to the States to write for his solo album under Martin Dodd and Clive Calder at JIVE Records...Throughout this time he attracted the attentions of the Underdogs, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis who he continues to write with, when in Los Angeles...JUD has released songs on Tyrese, Calvin Richardson, KC and Jo-Jo, Az Yet, Eric Benet, Backstreet Boys, O-Town, Robin Gibb, Nona Gaye, Mya, Sean Cane etc...
JUD also co-wrote Eamon's 1st single "Bring him Home" for his 2nd album due for release...JUD was signed by Michael Ostin and John McClain to Dreamworks in 2002 after a key man clause with JIVE stopped him from being released as an artist...Once with Dreamworks he spent 2 years recording with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Mario Winans, Joe, Boyz II Men and the Underdogs... The album got caught up in the merge with Interscope/Geffen and was also not released..JUD has also vocally produced some of the world's greatest talents including Mariah Carey, Brandy, Justin Timberlake, Usher and has wrote and produced with Babyface and Michael Jackson...He has 3 songs due for release on Girlfriend, a girl group signed to the Underdogs and collectively with JO Perry, 3 songs on Jeff, an artist with a John Mayer edge signed to BlackGround, (Barry Hankerson)...Originally from SE London, JUD is now collectively involved with JO Perry on UK, US and European Projects...Also in the year 2000, JO put together a girl band and a year later flew to Nashville to sign to Mike CURB on CURB records USA...
The group had a top 20 hit in the UK, supported Daniel Beddingfield on tour but then split after politics within CURB UK and decided to part ways...In 2003, JO bought herself some equipment, built a studio, and began to develop her production skills...
In 2004, she signed to an Independent Publishing Company as a songwriter...After interest on her songs as an artist from labels, JO decided to concentrate on developing an album herself and meeting JUD previously , she knew he could bring something to her project that another producer couldn't in the UK...Also Originally from SE London, JO continued to work with JUD and other producers from the UK, USA and Sweden and developed an album ready to shop to a Radio 2 market.... She has had major interest from US labels, through Danny D...With the success of OTM Music, JO decided to hold off from being an artist to concentrate on producing records with JUD but signed 2 record deals March 2008 on dance singles, using her name but not her face, with ToolBox and Emotive Records... She also has another dance single with record company offers on the table....Since meeting JUD they now run 2 studios together, collaborate on artists and co-write regularly working on projects signed and unsigned..JUD and JO take regular trips to LA to write and produce and were scheduled to fly to New York in Feb 08 under Danny D and Tim BlackSmith (managers of StarGate) but the trip has been put back until Oct 08 due to UK commitments.. Danny has lined up projects for them including a solo female signed to Warners US, a RnB boy group signed to Warners US and also has a studio for them ready, next door to StarGate to use in NY as soon as they are ready to go..
They are also currently involved with the Jackson 5/Jackie Jackson on their comeback album, Michael Jackson/Rob White/John Mclain on Michael's comeback album and just finished another studio, 30 mins on a train from London...You can listen to more music @ www.myspace.com/onetrackmindmusicproductions
