Flloyd’s passion for music was noticed at an early age, and ever since he can remember he always dreamt about owning his own turntables and getting that feeling that his passion is going to someday become a reality.
Portuguese born, giving reason for his passion, Flloyd brings a refreshing element to any venue.
His technical ability puts himself to the test every time, experimenting with a varied mixture of tracks, effects, and hard hitting beats. His impulsive and creative personality pours out onto the dancefloor.
His character is reflective in his sets, 100% committed, and thrives on crowd reaction. Flloyd always drops that killer tune, and dances with the crowd behind the decks.
His styles originally varied from Trance, Techno, and eventually House where he finally discovered his main genre was in House/Electronic music with distinctive and deep grooves. After much time and effort and an old cliché ‘You think you’ve got what it takes’ Flloyd finally started looking to play out in front of a crowd.
After less than a year, August 2007 saw Flloyd’s first opportunity to DJ in front of a crowd at Rooder in Skipton. That gave him the benchmark to progress and seek further opportunities and guest DJ sets within the Leeds club scene. For such a short time on the scene he has had the privilege to play alongside some of the most wanted international DJ's including: Kelevra aswell as Leeds’s most sought after DJ’s: Eddi Zanetti, Luke Pompey, Jamie Fisher, Dale Castell, Matt Fear, Freejack, Ali Scott, Gavin Lampitt, Rick Hirst, Twisted Development, Smithn Westn, Jimmy D, Fabi, Johny B and many more.
Production is a natural progression, getting to grips with Ableton & Logic so watch this space for future productions.
Onwards & Upwards.. 2008 looks set to see more of Leeds’s newest Up & Coming DJ with more dates in the UK calendar and looking to take on Ibiza in the summer he is definitely one to watch out for..
